Instructions for use:
After arriving at the destination, put the SIM card into the "SIM 1" card slot of the mobile phone, and then turn on "Data Roaming" to use.
*1) The communication speed is for reference only. It is the maximum value based on the technical specifications when receiving/transmitting, but it does not represent the actual communication speed. IIJ will provide services on a "best efforts" basis, but actual communication speeds will vary depending on the communication environment and network congestion, such as busy times and crowded places. This service uses radio waves, so even within the service area, it may not be available due to indoor or surrounding obstacles (buildings, terrain), etc. In addition, it may not be usable even in places with a good view, such as on high floors of skyscrapers, apartments, etc.
*2) IIJ conducts regular maintenance every Tuesday night Japanese time (22:00 - 09:00) . During this period, the SIM card activation service will be suspended. Please note that activated SIMs will not be affected.
*3) It is normal that the SIM card does not display the reception strength on the iOS device but only displays the word LTE, while the reception strength will be displayed on the Android device.
Google Pixel 6 or 7 series users, please note that currently, phones in this series may experience problems such as failure to continuously connect when using pure Japanese SIM cards. This is probably due to SoC compatibility issues and there is currently no solution. If you are using this series, Please avoid buying purely Japanese local Japanese SIM cards.

Settings - Network and Internet - SIM card - Access point name - "IIJ" below CLICK to edit or the "+" sign on the upper right to add - Enter the specified 5 pieces of information - Press the 3-dot ICON on the upper right and then click Save - Confirm on the APN page that the APN has been selected and activated - Setup completed - Please power on again
